2nd Annual Americana Fest at Prescott Park

The Americana Fest is described as the rock and roll child born from the union between hillbilly and rhythm & blues. Others simply call it alt-Country. This unique festival provides an original music genre to performers who are looking for alternatives to the Folk Festivals and Country Festivals.

Americana Fest will be held on July 12, 2008. They are now accepting submissions for performance by Sonicbids artists.

Prescott Park is located on 3.5 waterfront acres in the vibrant downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The Arts Festival has a long, (now 34 year), rich history of successfully presenting a full range of arts and culture events with no fixed admission, attracting thousands of attendees to its events each summer.

The primary objective of the Festival is to provide quality family entertainment, promote artistic excellence in the community, and maintain quality presentations of both entertainment and educational events.
