The 2GO Erina Fair Annual Acoustic Awards are an initiative started to give acoustic musicians an opportunity to give exposure to their music. Whilst there is a competitive element to the awards, the aim is to showcase the very best musical talent the Central Coast has to offer. Artists from outside the Central Coast area are invited to participate, they anticipate that at least 70% of participants will be local. At least one Sonicbids artist will be selected.

There will be 4 heats, 2 semi finals and a grand final, with heats starting on February 17th 2011. This competition takes place on the central coast of NSW. Bands must be able to attend heats, as well as the semi and grand finals to be eligible.

Any acoustic acts are eligible to enter, solo, duo and bands all welcome to apply. No plug in instruments will be permitted. Artist must perform at least one original piece.

Sponsors include SeaFM Radio, Erina Fair, Music Cellar Studios, Image Focus Australia and Indie Showcase.

Please note: while submissions from artists worldwide are welcome, performers must be in New South Wales at the time of the event.
