"Dewey Beach Music Conference show review"

"He connects to the audience stirring
real emotion, not only from him but from the crowd. His music is
uplifting without being frivolous."

ON TAP MAGAZINE---The Washington, DC metro area's guide to music, entertainment, nightlife and culture. - Connie S. Poole

"Homegrown Music Cafe review"

"Rarely can you find an artist that can write from the heart and then back it up with ample talent on both guitar and piano. With a vocal quality reminiscent of Ed Kowalczyk (lead singer of the band LIVE) and John Mayer, Steven Archdeacon is no stranger to delivering the goods. On the Debut CD “No Turning Back,” Archdeacon combines smart lyrics, great musicianship, and superb production qualities. I highly recommend checking out this talented new artist. " - Ralph Antignano

"Songsalive! CD Review for "No Turning Back" Album"

"New Yorker Steve Archdeacon (artist name "Archdeacon") brings us 7 songs that tell us his personal stories, hopes and emotions, through soft rock guitar driven grooves, well constructed songwriting, and strong vocals. I very much enjoyed Archdeacon’s album as a testament to his story, and his expression. It’s definitely a strong calling card for him as a songwriter, recording artist, and producer. " - Gilli Moon

"M&M – Music and the Military"

Archdeacon seems to already have learned how to captivate the audience, exhibited by him frequently leaving the stage to play guitar within the crowd; most of who were dancing. The band has played in many venues, including a tour in England, but Archdeacon said his gig at the Brickhouse was very special and he hopes to play there again soon. “I appreciate what music has brought in to my life and using my music to raise funds that will help the WWP provide services to American soldiers is the best collaboration I could ever hope for,” he said. - Jane Koropsak

"Helping Injured Veterans"

"One local band, ARCHDEACON, lead by Steve Archdeacon of Stony Brook, has a personal quest that will last beyond Veterans Day. ARCHDEACON wanted to show appreciation for the sacrifices made by soldiers like Ian Lennon. To do that, the band played at the Brickhouse Brewery in Patchogue on recent Friday night and held a raffle that garnered $800, all of which was donated to the WWP."
