CHERUB: MY ALTER EGO
Pastor Rodney is a Christian rapper. In other words, he ministers the Gospel through the music genre of rap/hip hop. This began about 5 years ago for Pastor Rodney to minister in his way to reach a group of people that desperately need encouragement: the youth and young adults.
Receiving confirmation by the Lord and also by some of his favorite Christian artists, he made a demo of his songs which are all originals and sent them out to various record company dealing with this genre of music. Also, he entered and came 2nd Runner Up in the Maja Awards, which is a Christian talent search of non recording artists who want to minister for the Lord in the form of music. When ministering, Pastor Rodney goes by the name of CHERUB, which is the root word in the word 'cherubim'. The name CHERUB means mighty angel. He is in the works of making an album and hopefully by next year it will be done.
"This is another way for me to duplicate myself and reach people in various places that I possibly would not meet in person. We all have different talents and skills and God wants to use us, so we must be flexible. The Word of God says that He is the potter and we are the clay."
