Bio
Catherine King has been singing ever since she can remember. Music has always played a huge part in her life, from early childhood right through her years at Berklee College of Music. After college, Catherine got married and started a family. While raising three sons, and after suddenly losing her father, her music got put on the back burner--for almost two decades.
It was only after a pilgrimage to Newfoundland to visit family and explore her heritage that Catherine realized what was missing in her life. The musical culture in Newfoundland made her feel connected and "home". She brought that feeling back to the US with her, and began writing songs again. Now Catherine is back to writing and performing locally and is getting ready to record her debut CD in 2012.
It's been a long road, but well worth the wait.
