The 8th Annual Cowboy Hillbilly Hippy Folk Festival

The deadline is approaching to submit to The 8th Annual Cowboy Hillbilly Folk Festival, which will be held at Woodlands Tavern in Columbus, OH on Oct 13 and 14, 2011. The venue has two stages with two separate sound systems. Several Sonicbids artists have been selected to play at the event each of the past 3 years. For 2011, a minimum of 3 Sonicbids artists will be chosen to perform. TheWoodlands Tavern is a great all age indoor venue that is just south of The Ohio State University campus. If you are all about fun and music with no hassle and no attitude, please consider this opportunity. There will be 15-20 bands over the 2 days of performances.

Please note: Sound support will be provided. Typical transition time between acts is 15 minutes. If you have a large drum kit, large amps and a mountain of gear in your band, this is not a good venue for you. They are looking for 1 to 5 person acts that are easy on and easy off and don't mind a sound check on the fly.
