DeAnna

Singer-songwriter DeAnna was born and raised in a tiny Saskatchewan town in Canada. DeAnna delivers a unique vocal style that authentically captures real life, faith, love and emotions. DeAnna has the sweetness of Faith Hill, the growl of Gretchen Wilson, the uniqueness of Sheryl Crow and innocence of Taylor Swift.

In 2006, DeAnna was recruited by Nashville Publisher, Playgroup Entertainment, were she honed her skills co-writing songs with Stephanie Bentley, (who co-wrote "Breathe" and "Concrete Angel") and Kathy Majeski (who wrote for Reba McEntire, and Lori Morgan).

Aint Gonna Steal My Thunder, was picked up for the 1st edition of the US Navy Seals tribute CD which received a 5 star rating from Rolling Stone Online, ITunes and Amazon .com. The CD is set for national distribution through out the USA. It was released June 8th 09, and is available on I-Tunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, etc.

In November of 2009, DeAnna recorded five new songs in Nashville with producer Gil Grand which directly led to DeAnna signing to Dirtbag/ILG/Warner Music Group in 2010. The release of her first single in Canadian "Miss Invisible" features an arrangement by Canadian music veterans Bart McKay and Dane DeViller who is also the producer and co-writer on the single.

DeAnna delivers more than hits. Her music touches listeners, makes them feel human, demands that they explore their memories, decisions and to explore their future path. The magic is hard to pin-point and even more difficult to create. DeAnna doesn't sacrifice her identity, nor does she follow the rules laid down long ago by Country music insiders. A great artist simply follows their creative drive. A great artist doesn't give up when she hits roadblocks. A great artist, like DeAnna, is willing to take risks because after she delivers the music that comes through her, all risk is released, all risk is nullified, all risk is instantly converted by her listeners to joy and washed clean of uncertainty.

DeAnna loved her time with DBM, and found her voice well working with the development label! With a New year comes changes with everyone Cheering her on as her lastest single Miss Invisible taking the chart by storm. Currently Sitting at 79 on the country charts!

DeAnna's debut album Luckiest Women hit online stores in March of 2011. DeAnna is currently routing a Canadian radio station tour and is available upon request for any in-studio performances and phoners.
