THE STORY: The diverse sounds of the Different Worlds band will be on display as they bring their soulful sound to the Bamboo Lounge and Seabreeze Steakhouse in Indian Harbour Beach on Saturday (formerly Foreman’s Steakhouse). A band made up of multiple influences with members ranging from their late to 20s to “more seasoned” musicians, Different Worlds are quickly becoming a Brevard County favorite.
The band consists of Kenny Michaels (vocals/guitar/keyboards), Jarrett Anderson (vocals/guitar), Buddy Luv (vocals/bass), Phil (P.J) Trofibio (vocals/keyboards), and Tree Rees (drums/percussion). Together the band is electrifying, talented and offers a rare blend of musical diversity featuring their unique blend of “rock and soul.”
QUESTION: How were you able to assemble such an eclectic group of young and seasoned musicians?
ANSWER: Actually we took over two years to find the right people that we wanted. Everybody has a particular background and style they bring to the table. Our bass player has a good gospel and soul background, Jarrett has a gospel and blues background and everyone brings a special element. It’s kind of like a Cajun gumbo, a lot of flavors go into it. I met most of these guys when I hosted the Monday night jams at Lou’s Blues for so many years. People would come in from all over the state, and I got to hear the best musicians around, so I was able to handpick members for this band.
Q: Being that you cover so many different genres and so many different eras, is it hard to become proficient at any one style?
A: We have been labeled as a rock and soul band. I think all the music we do is in that general area or at least close to it. The beauty of having different music is seeing how we can bring them together. - Florida Today Newspaper

Different Worlds is a Rock and Soul Show Band.
Different Worlds is a band made from many influences. We have members that range in age from late 20's to "seasoned". These hand picked musicians come from backgrounds in Gospel, Blues, Soul, Reggea, Rock, and "Blue Eyed Soul". Their differences in generation, music, and upbringing are formidable. However, Different Worlds brings these cultures together to bring a fresh new approach to their Most Common Denominator ... THE MUSIC.
Different Worlds performs an array of Blue eyed Soul, Classic Rock, Soul and Funk. Classics from Clapton, Isley Brothers, Marvin Gaye, Delbert Mc Clinton, and Motown.
