El género de la bachata encuentra un artista, que con su interpretación logra identificarla como "bachata moderna" no apartándose de la tradicional y que personas de todas las edades pueden disfrutar y en el Grupo Encanto, que lidera Jeffrey Alonzo, cantante y compositor, esta metamorfosis se conjuga. Lanzaron su primer album titulado “Escrito Por Mi, Vivido Por Ti.” en Diciembre de el 2011 del cual salieron varias canciones que tocaron a mucha gente como: “Aunque Tenga Miedo”, “Estoy” y “Quien Te Dijo”. Este Album fue accompañado por un video musical de el Tema “Estoy” y una gira por la Republica Dominicana en el 2012. Aprovecharon la gira para lanzar un Nuevo tema titulado “Mi Vida” que sera parte de un Nuevo disco que esta todavia en proceso de grabacion. Este nuevo dico incluye temas de amor e ilusion como: "Let's Stay Together" y temas de traicion y dolor como: "Asi que...Corre."
El Grupo Encanto atravez de su gran esfuerzo y talento han podido compartir la tarima con tantos famosos como Anthony Santos, Luis Vargas, Raulin Rodriguez, El Prodigio, Tego Calderon entre muchos mas. Se han destacado en la tarima y han dejado a los medios y al igual a todo publico que lo escucha encantados.

The genre of Bachata finds an artist, whose interpretations identify as "Bachata Urbana" without completely turning away from the traditional nuances, which allows people of all ages to enjoy El Grupo Encanto, led by Jeffrey Alonzo, singer and composer, this metamorphosis takes place. In December 2011, they released their first album on their own entitled "Escrito por mi, vivido por ti." This did very well in the radio waves of the Dominican Republic. They followed up the album with a music video of the song "Estoy" and a tour of the Dominican Republic in 2012. They took advantage of the tour to release a new track titled "Mi Vida" which will be part of a new album that is still in the recording process. This new Album includes song themes of love and illusion such as: "Let's Stay Together" and Al Green remake in the bachata genre and song that speaks of betrayal and pain such as "Asi Que... Corre", which will be released in the upcoming months.
El Grupo Encanto through their hard work and talent have shared the stage with many celebrities such as Anthony Santos, Luis Vargas, Raulin Rodriguez, El Prodigio, Tego Calderon and many more. They have grown up on stage and have left the media and public in awe of their immense showmanship, talent and professionalism showing that they were meant to do this.
