Champlain Motion Pictures is currently seeking original, professionally recorded songs to be used in its upcoming independent feature film production. They need 5 to 7 songs, and are reserving 2 of those slots for Sonicbids artists. Principal photography on this project is scheduled for June 2008. The film will be directed by Jayson Argento and will feature Larry Holden (Batman Begins, Memento) in a major role. The plot is centered around a radio station.

Champlain Motion Pictures is currently accepting submissions from all genres of rock for inclusion in the radio station context, as well as for general scene consideration.

Songwriters will retain ownership over their materials and will receive a basic flat fee license. There will not be royalty payments, however songwriters will be given full screen credit and provided with a copy of the finished product. If a soundtrack album is produced, artists featured in the film and selected through Sonicbids will be given preference for inclusion, though this will be governed by a separate agreement.
