Women in Music Chicago Radio CD Compilation

Just Cool Sounds, Inc. (JCSI) is a new promotional endeavor based out of Chicago.



JCSI is pleased to announce the creation of a compilation CD of original female-oriented music. Their goal is to showcase original music from the best emerging female artists on Sonicbids. The CD will be distributed to Chicago radio stations that play the genres covered on the CD. In addition selected artists will receive a copy of the CD for their own use. This is their first CD project, and each successive disc will hopefully reach additional markets.



Musicians selected to participate on the CD will also be added to the JCSI website. Selected artists will receive a copy of the compilation CD.



Submissions are open to a variety of genres including: Rock, Alt. Rock, Acoustic Rock, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Folk, Alt. Country, Americana and related genres. Please no Metal or Rap. The band or artist has to be female fronted or women have to be a big part of the act (i.e. women on lead guitar, lead vocals or principal songwriter). Songs that are submitted should already be mixed and mastered.



All submissions will receive a review even if not selected for the compilation and there are at least 10 slots on the disc reserved for Sonicbids artists!
