LEROY "BAARBE" ROMANS - Independent Producer/Musician/Composer-Arranger/Songwriter/Engineer
R&B, Pop, Hip Hop/Rap, Dance-hall/Roots Reggae, Jazz, Funk and soft Rock/Trance/techno/Jungle styles.
Leroy "Baarbe" Romans was born in Kingston/Jamaica in the year 1969. He became very curious about the music profession at an early age. He began music lessons on the flute and continued to excel of the years and became very passionate about music on a wide scale. It became his sanctuary to overcome many obstacles for himself and others. He studied Flute and Vocals at the Jamaica School of Music.
Leroy later met up with a friend from the same music school who received an offer to perform for a band called "Coalition" in Barbados where he lived for over 3 years. During that period he taught himself to play the keyboards. After Barbados, he returned home to Kingston/Jamaica and was embraced by the music industry there. Leroy has since played with many well-known artists and groups. At this time Leroy is a seasoned keyboardist, vocalist and performer.
Leroy "Baarbe" Romans has taken his years experience and has transcended into a Multi-talented extra ordinary individual that has paid his dues in the industry. His years of experience has brought him nothing less than admiration and respect as one of today's best Producer, Musician, composer-Arranger & Songwriter.
Leroy have a strong belief in spirituality He believes that, the personality of a musician, artist or creative soul is a reflection of his or her work. "I'm a very passionate person in general so my work reflects just that ... Passion"
