"This results in a Cd perfect for party, cheerful, boisterous, festive, for the exchange of gifts, to change the ideas of gloomy news about Quebec or elsewhere. Snowbirds will bring in the south" - City Boomers

"Festive and refreshing!"

The Tireux trad group celebrates its 15th anniversary with a fifth album, which more than makes up for the creation rocks. As for the title X0, it is of course referring to refined Cognac which the group identify its like new vintage ... unpretentious! - Journal de Montréal

"Pull out of the game"

Just like his live performances - and on cd - Denis Massé also confirms its reputation as outstanding storyteller . "Over the years, we come to have things to say! " He balance by addressing the " new direction " in which the trad group headed with XO , 15 ans d' age.

Masse will argue that in 15 years , his favorite genre has definitely changed , as more and more musical projects follow the traditional folklore for their own works. "At the time , we could tap into that directory and extract treasures. Today, there is more abundance at the approach of storytelling , music and songs. The treasures are increasingly hard to find " Hence the decision to go with a debut album based primarily on music and text - . Committed , moreover - of Tireux of rocks. - Voir

"Good news!"

This fifth album originally Mauricie trad group, which exists for 15 years now ... as the CD title suggests. If music is the traditional base (response songs, jigs), guys have fun mix several genres: jazz, rock, pop, you name it. And as there is no violin on this album but saxophones, bouzouki, banjo and other, it gives a really current sound, which is good, although sometimes it slows down a little energy. That said, the guys have a real talent for storytelling. Highlights: Many words and Quebec Bridge. A very good CD. - Journal métro

"one of the best to come out of the actual acoustic "trad" tendency"

"... (St-Élie-de-Caxton, Quebec), where speech is flamboyant and everyone has a bounce in their step. With their third album, this band, one of the best to come out of the actual acoustic "trad" tendency, demonstrates this well. Artistic qualities abound..." 8.5 / 10
- (Yves Bernard, Journal ICI Montréal)

"precious listening time without ever wasting a second"

"Of these eleven particularly generous tunes, the beautiful "Fresque du colon" stands out. It uses more than ten minutes of your precious listening time without ever wasting a second."
- (François Houde, Journal Le Nouvelliste)

"The result is a peculiar sound setting it apart from its peers."

"The arrangements prove to be quite mature. Band members occasionally stray from the narrow path of traditional Quebecois music to venture into world beat. The result is a peculiar sound setting it apart from its peers."

- (Philippe Meilleur, Montréal Campus)
