FIDIM is updating Netrikulator, one of its classic video games to add some new features and allow it to run on modern operating systems(Windows, Mac OS). One facet of the upgrades is music available during game play. Users will be able to set which song they want to hear during play, or set it to pick one at random.
Artists will receive credit in game credits next to the music selection on the preferences screen with a link back to the artist's web site or EPK. This information will also appear in the Read Me file. Artists will receive a free copy of the finished game.
The music selected will be instrumental only. The game is a puzzle game with fairly unique and addicting game play called Netrikulator. Release is planned for late this spring.
The music should intensify the mood and thus, be intense. No relaxing music will be selected. There should be a sense of urgency in the music. Please note that the song will loop during game play, so the longer and less repetitive the song is the better.
