The 15th Annual Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival (TVIFF) is scheduled to occur, Sept. 9-13, 2009 at the Movie Experience/Tower Plaza Shopping Center in Temecula, California.
For five days in September, TVIFF screens over 200 films from 20+ countries, showcases 12-15 music artists in the MusicFest component; holds workshops, panels and/or seminars on film and music related issues; honors significant icons of both film and music during the Black Tie Awards Gala. Over 20,000 people attended the festival in 2008.
The MusicFest component of the Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival is designed to showcase original music vision and artistic wizardry of talented individuals and groups from across America and the world.
The 2009 MusicFest is being revamped in a big way. In the same manner that the Film Component of the Festival has a Best of the Fest screenings, the MusicFest will select 3 artists as its of "Best of MusicFest" artists. Each of these artists will receive prize packages that include CASH, international distribution, music equipment/instruments, non-exclusive licensing deals and more in addition to various performance opportunities during the 5-day run of the festival (Opening Night Premiere Post Screening Party, Awards Gala, special Gala receptions, TVIFF marketplace, and daily/nightly receptions at the VIP Hospitality suite).
This is a unique opportunity for exposure to film and music industry professionals who have the ability, connections and influence to help get your music placed. The TVIFF is proud to have had past performing artists receive music placements, production offers, licensing opportunities and more!
Who can participate:
Emerging, up and coming unsigned performing artists and bands. Vocal performers may be a solo, duo, trio, quartet or an ensemble.
What genres of music are considered:
From Rock to Pop, Jazz to Country, Hip Hop, R&B, Latin, Blues, Folk to World, etc.
