Submissions are open to ALL artists worldwide. In the City has reserved a minimum of two slots for Sonicbids artists and the bands/artists who are selected to play will receive up to US$1000 to help cover travel costs, courtesy of Sonicbids and In the City. Half will be paid upon proof of travel arrangements to In The City; the other half paid after the artist performs.
Bringing together press, broadcasters, celebrities, captains of industry and, of course, the best new bands in the world, ITC is an annual meeting point for key labels, publishers, lawyers, agents, technology companies and media and ITC delegates attend from all corners of the globe to network, debate, party and set the music industry to rights. The night time sees 2,500 industry delegates and 100,000 music fans head onto the streets of Manchester for In The City Live: as a mass of new music-makers take over the city to create the biggest city-based music festival in Europe. It’s music and it’s also business; ITC Unsigned has the highest signing ratio of any new talent event in the world.
