Garage Stock is the event where hundreds of bands compete for the title of "Best Garage Band in America" with a grand prize of $5000. Garage Stock is now accepting additional submissions to fill remaining slots at the event. All bands who submit through Sonicbids will be allowed to perform! Please see acceptable genres below.
Bands submit to be considered to play at Garage Stock to be held at Camp Zoe in the Ozark Mountains, July 21-24, 2005. At the event, roughly 300-500 bands will play at least one 45-minute set in the first-round. Whether a band is eliminated or will move on will be determined by patrons of the event who will cast their vote to select the top 80 semi-finalists – and after that, the top ten bands to compete in the finalists round. These top ten bands will play a 30-minute set that will be judged by a panel of music industry professionals - for title of Best Garage Band in America and $5000.00 cash.
In addition to the competition, there will be showcases throughout the campgrounds on various stages and in cabins. At least 20 showcase slots are reserved exclusively for Sonicbids artists.
Please note - There is a $50.00 campground fee per band. Sonicbids members receive a 37.5% discount off the normal $80 fee.
