The Remix Hotel provides hands-on access to the technology and equipment used to create today’s electronic and urban music via artist presentations and demonstrations, workshops, clinics and discussion. Remix puts the tools of the trade into the hands of the end user and provides sponsors with access to these users they may not find elsewhere. And now, following the first ever showcases at the Remix Hotel Miami and New York City, Remix will be offering showcase opportunities at Remix Hotel Los Angeles.
There will be three showcases – one each day – with one to three artists playing each day. That means up to nine artists will be selected to play at The Remix Hotel Los Angeles. Set times will vary. Remix is taking submissions for its new showcases exclusively through Sonicbids. Please note that Remix Hotel will accommodate a DJ set-up. No full bands can be accommodated.
The event will be held November 4-6, 2005 in Los Angeles – and anyone who’s anyone in the DJ and electronica world needs to be there! Plus, be on the lookout for future showcasing opportunities at the Remix Hotel in Chicago this fall.
Sponsors include industry leaders like Motorola, Digidesign, M-Audio, Apple, SAE, Pioneer, Stanton, Korg, Vestax, Cakewalk, Guitar Center and several others. DJ performance events at the Remix Hotels and Remix Hotel-sponsored club events feature leading artists demonstrating different genres while using current gear on the market.
