Jazz Up July

Jazz Up July is an outdoor summer jazz concert series with live music from national and regional headliners, which attract after work crowds and families. Columbus Park is the place to be during the summer as Stamford Downtown produces great music, great dancing, and great times. The event takes place on Wednesday nights, starting July 10 through August 7, 2013.

The series has grown in popularity over the years attracting jazz musicians from all over the country and has become a staple of the regional music scene in Fairfield and Westchester counties. The event also features a "sponsor village" and a food court with signature offerings from various local restaurants. Artists are given the opportunity to sell merchandise during their set. Artists will supply their own personnel to staff the merchandise tent and all proceeds from merchandise are retained by the artist.

There is one opening act on each Wednesday night, opening performances last 45 minutes. Shows begin at 6:30pm in Columbus Park and artists should perform original music only. Jazz Up July on the Heineken Light Stage, presented by Stamford Town Center and in partnership with Purdue Pharma, is produced by Stamford Downtown and the City of Stamford.
