The NACA National Convention provides an excellent opportunity for colleges & universities, booking agencies and self-represented artists to gather together, network, showcase, exhibit and conduct business.
More than 2,000 student buyers and their advisers from nearly 450 schools nationwide are expected to attend the 2010 NACA National Convention in Boston, MA, Feb. 13-16, 2010, to meet with artists and their representatives in the Campus Activities Marketplace, NACA�s exhibit hall.
More than 80 showcase opportunities are available in various categories. Submission Requirements:
- Artists that are being submitted to showcase must have a current NACA associate membership or be represented by an NACA associate member firm or agency. NACA National Associate Membership is $710.
- NACA associate members submitting artists to showcase must also purchase an exhibit booth. Exhibit Fee is $1199 and includes a full delegate pass for one person to attend the entire 4-day event.
- Artists who are not yet NACA members may submit first, then join, with membership applications and payment required before the selection committee meets. NACA membership and exhibit booth application forms are available at the NACA Web site .
NOTE: Your submission is not complete until you submit membership and exhibit booth payment to NACA. If membership and booth payment is not submitted to NACA, your submission will not be reviewed and you will forfeit your $95 submission fee.
After you submit, then what? A selection committee consisting of student talent buyers and professional staff from a variety of colleges and universities will meet in mid-October to review all applications. Showcase selection results will be announced on the NACA Web site no later than Oct. 20, 2009.
Upon notification, selected artists must submit a showcase performance fee. Selected artists will receive all access badges to event for the day of their performance. An overview of fees may be found on the NACA Web site .
