Founded in 2005 by long time friends Richard Zack and Dave Smith, The Wink Winks was formed as a vehicle to enable talented artists to bring new music to the world, with a focus of making a positive impact on society. The Wink Winks provide management, publishing, and promotion services for bands who create music we enjoy, who are hard working, have a progressive social and political stance. They are looking to sign two more SonicBids artists by the end of the year.

The Wink Winks provide management, publishing, and promotion services for bands who create music we enjoy, who are hard working, have a progressive social and political stance. They are looking to sign two more SonicBids artists by the end of the year.
Located in NYC, they manage and represent artists in several states, and are currently accepting submissions from bands all across the United States. They are currently seeking alternative, alt rock, classic rock, indie, indie rock, jam band, pop rock and rock artists for consideration on their management, licensing, and/or promotions rosters.

doublethink is an unsigned band, whose recent album was produced by legendary rock producer Kevin "Caveman" Shirley (who produced albums for Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Black Crowes, Silverchair, and more). They have performed over 200 live shows including opening up for Collective Soul and Finger 11. doublethink is part of The Wink Winks Management Roster, and this band was originally found on SonicBids.

Into Arcadia is an unsigned band, who recently performed in front of 2000+ people at Summerfest 2009 in Milwaukee on the US Cellular Main Stage, opening for Shinedown and Vallejo. The band is currently recording their second release, and will be extensively touring this fall and spring 2010. Into Arcadia is part of The Wink Winks Management Roster, and this band was originally found on SonicBids.

Other notable accomplishments for our artists include performances at SXSW, synch placements on MTV and Oxygen Networks, the retainer of respected national publicists and booking agents, sponsorships by companies like Fender Guitars and Shine Drums, and dozens of reviews in local, regional, and national publications.
PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY! To be considered for management, bands must have:
- At least once professional quality release, either an EP or full length album. This can be either released through a label, or an independent (self) release that is professionally produced and packaged.

A Website, Facebook, or Myspace page with at least 1000 fans/friends, and the ability to hear your music online.

Performed several live shows.

Generated some local or regional press coverage (list this in your EPK!)

A basic understanding of the role of a manager.

A well of new songs either already recorded or written and ready to go.

The ability to come to NYC at least once a year and the understanding that unless you're in NYC, we won't be able to meet often in person, and we must perform all functions over the phone/Internet.

And most importantly... the genuine drive and ability to make music your career and primary life focus! This will be a long road and as a business, we can only invest and work with bands who are ready to make the commitment.
