The Tomato Art Fest, voted “Best Festival” in the 2007 Nashville Scene Reader’s Poll, will be held on August 8th in East Nashville. The festival is focused on tomato art, but also features 2 stages for musical acts. There is a large stage for bands and a smaller stage for acoustic or solo acts, and 16 artists total play each year. Last year’s festival saw 15,000 attendees.

The Tomato Art Fest will be giving preference to Nashville-based artists, and more specifically to East Nashville artists, but welcomes all submissions.
The festival is located in the historic East Nashville Five Points area, which has been coined by Budget Travel Magazine as “Nashville’s version of New York’s East Village”. The Tomato Art Fest is a FREE, costume-friendly event provides a fun-filled day for thousands.
