The Miami Music Festival (MMF) and emerging artists conference returns this November 12 - 14, 2010 with a new and improved schedule, new venues and more emerging artists than ever. 250 artists from around the world will be showcased on 25 stages, for both music industry professionals and a local community of music fans.
The festival is seeking emerging artists, and 60 Sonicbids artists are guaranteed to be selected. Last year, attendance to the festival topped 18,000 people. Bands will not be compensated for their participation. Travel and lodging costs are the responsibility of the artists.
This year, MMF continues to expand with the addition of headline acts, shows in major theaters, daytime outdoor performances, and the use of more clubs throughout the city. Working with Miami Live, a new initiative highlighting Miami's rich heritage and growth as a live music destination, the Miami Music Festival is taking the next step in support of live music.
