Bash on Wabash, named the South Loop neighborhood's "premier outdoor event," is a two-day celebration of cultural diversity, expecting to reel in over 12,000 attendees. Bash on Wabash, named the South Loop neighborhood's "premier outdoor event," is a two-day celebration of cultural diversity, expecting to reel in over 12,000 attendees. At least one Sonicbids artist is guaranteed to perform, where the selected will receive media attention, compensation and the ability to sell merchandise.
The event is looking to fill 15 performance slots in total. Selected performers will accompany notable headliners such as Cracker, Sixteen Candles and more, all to be publicized by local radio station 93FM WXRT. Artist payment will be negotiated upon selection.
Past performers include: Buckwheat Zydeco, Cornmeal, Lonnie Brooks, Liquid Soul, among others.
In addition to live music from nationally known and local artists, the event will feature a wide variety of food choices, including top area restaurants, beer and wine, upscale arts and crafts, an elaborate kid’s area and plenty of activities.
Sponsored by the Greater South Loop Association, the 7th annual Bash on Wabash strives to offer something for everyone.
