Depending on the time of the year, they have dedicated airplay features, plus an annual airplay vote which determines some of the featured programming. Holiday-themed shows also air a few times per year. The show has a strong following both live and in archival form. The archives of my shows are updated weekly and can be found at CBlue.LunarPages.com. This page contains the last 4 shows, plus a FeedPlayer with mp3, streaming and podcast options.
Radio Crystal Blue is streaming on Live365 here: Live365.com/Stations/142950. Shows air Sundays 7pm and run 4-6 hours depending on the number of albums involved. There is a statement on the station page that says the show is not available. This is false, as they use a third-party system (SimpleCast by Spacial Audio) and not Live365's own service. Please keep this in mind if you are attempting to listen live.
More information on the host and the show at RadioCrystalBlue.com which includes airplay charts, several Q&A interviews with indie stars past and present, and more goodies. In its 9 year history, Radio Crystal Blue introduced music from such household names before their move to super stardom as Ingrid Michaelson, Julian Velard and Regina Spektor. As a supporter of Sonicbids artists since 2004, Radio Crystal Blue is actively seeking artists with new albums (nothing older than 9 months) to debut on Dan's companion radio program, Radio Crystal Blue's "Novus Ordo". This extra program airs for one hour, Sundays at 5:45pm ET, at the same Live365 station. Dan focuses on 8 new albums a week. All artist albums that are actively promoting and performing gigs will make it to the standard RCB rotation.
Note: There is no dedicated studio space for peformances or interviews. Sometime in the future there may be such amenities.
Dan sometimes records particular artists at events and interviews with a digital recorder.
