A recent survey of SoundsLikeCafe’s unique distribution list indicated over 1 million listeners per week across 1200 outlets. Genres accepted include: Singer/Songwriter, Roots, Blues, Pop, Reggae, Adult Contemporary, Commercial Dance and Pop Rock. SoundsLikeCafe does not accept Rap, Urban, Heavy Rock, Country, Techno, Metal or music that is too heavy.

The compilation is delivered free of charge to SLC outlets and over 30 volumes has built a reputation for bringing quality new music to an otherwise neglected by very appreciative audience. Whether you are an Australian or international act looking to tour, release an album, or gain exposure within Australia, Sounds Like Cafe provides the perfect opportunity to showcase your music. Selected artists are included on the CD compilation for distribution to SoundLikeCafe outlets and on www.soundslikecafe.com, which features direct click throughs to artist sites, Itunes, or other sales links. The website also features a chart compiled directly from cafe feedback.

SoundsLikeCafe is moving to digital distribution to select cafes and this has allowed a significant cost reduction that can be passed on to our artist clients. The inclusion fee is reduced from $900 to $500. This fee will be waived for one Sonicbids artist on each CD (selected at SoundsLikeCafes’s discretion).
