Presented by Brooklyn Bodega, the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival is one of America’s premier hip hop events, and is known for giving independent artists the chance to perform alongside legends like Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Big Daddy Kane, De La Soul, Ghostface Killah, Group Home, Masta Ace, Smif N Wessun, Lupe Fiasco (in his NYC debut), and many more. Random Axe (Sean Price, Guilty Simpson, and Black Milk) and legendary DJs Marley Marl, Grand Wizzard Theodore, Roli Rho, and Twilite Tone have just been added to the 2011 festival lineup alongside Q-Tip (and "friends"), M.O.P., Torae, eLZhi, Homeboy Sandman, Eternia, Shad, Nitty Scott and Kid Glyde.

At least 15 Sonicbids artists are guaranteed to perform throughout the week-long Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival.
