The Rosewood Merchant Association, in partnership with Solid Entertainment and Liquid Assets, is gearing up to bring some of the infamous Creole cuisine to the Midlands on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the 6th annual Rosewood Crawfish Festival. The festival is reserving 2 slots for Sonicbids artists who can rock blues, jazz and zydeco music to perform live at the festival. All music should be family friendly and free of any explicit content.
This year's line up include artists such as Tonic, Marcy Playground, The Tinbenders, Hot Lava Monster, Haley Dreis, Hott Boxx, Silver Lining and many more. The selected band/artist will play on one of the two festival stages alongside these artists.
About the festival:
The Rosewood Crawfish Festival is a family celebration with activities, arts and crafts vendors, live music, beverages and, of course, crawfish. Lovers of all things Creole and Cajun are invited to adorn Rosewood Drive and take part in one of the city’s favorite celebrations, featuring 5,000 pounds of fresh Louisiana grown crawfish. If crawfish aren’t a favorite thing, a large assortment of other options will be available for your dining pleasure along with live music on two stages and fun for the whole family, featuring a street vaulting competition and the Community Event Expo area.
