Summary

As one of Europe’s largest music conventions, British Music Week takes place in October, 2011 in London, England. With over 23 seminars, and 100 bands/musicians performing throughout 40 venues in Camden and Shoreditch, it is looking for talented artists to perform live during the week. British Music Week is offering an opportunity for solo artists and bands of all genres to participate in their competition to find the next Rising Star in 2011. 20 Sonicbids members will be selected to go through to the semi-finals in October, 2011. Here’s what the winning artist(s) will get:



  • The winner of the 2011 Rising Star will receive the award at the prestigious Download Music Awards during British Music Week.

  • Artists will get to perform their own live 20 minute showcase.

  • They will also receive a management contract courtesy of IMG Music Management.
