The Frosty Factory is a small club that has been involved in the creation of the Alexandria, LA music scene over the past two years. It is a 22-year-old venue with a predictable built in crowd at half the capacity with no promotion. The F.F. can hold a max of 120 people. We have seating for 50 and the rest is standing room only. Set length for most artists is 3 sets at 1 hour for each set; starting at 10pm and ending at around 2am. Currently, The Frosty Factory is booked 3 months in advance, and has become the hot spot to play in Alexandria. Great pay, great hospitality, great support staff, and a great crowd is what keeps our artists coming back.
No local draw is needed! Most genres are accepted with the exception of rap, metal and hardcore. Compensation is generally $250 plus 50% of the door, but they are negotiable to some extent based on travel, notoriety, and general “coolness” level at the time of negotiation.
They have an in-house P.A. system that is more than capable of most needs of the venue. Some Backline is available under some situations, but there are no monitors, mics, mic stands, or cables. Stage lighting is available for all artists.
Grammy nominated, Grayson Capps (LA Blues, Hyena Records); Simeon & Outlaw Nation (reggae / fusion, Domination Records); Mike Comfort (indie adult contemporary top 10 artist); and countless local and regional acts have adorned the stage at The Frosty Factory.
