The core of their multimedia publication resides in a monthly paper magazine (circulation: 50,000) that's distributed to 700 college bookstores and independent retail stores in 48 U.S. states across the nation: from the University of Florida to the Berklee College of Music, from Texas A&M to the University of Alaska at Fairbanks. Online, www.hearsay.cc lets Hear/Say supplement the content from their print magazine with Web exclusive features and a chunky archive of music news and artist info. Hear/Say is looking for Sonicbids artists to feature in its publication. Starting in March, 2007, one Sonicbids band will be featured each month in a special section of the magazine.
With original content provided by a nationwide network of college students and seasoned music writers, Hear/Say seeks to provide their readers with insightful commentary on both cutting-edge and classic, can't-miss artists alike. Through probing reviews, exclusive interviews, profiles on up-and-coming artists, release dates, previews of CDs and DVDs, Hear/Say exposes thousands of college students to both new and classic music.
