The festival is now accepting submissions from artists who wish to perform live at the festival.
Compensation for bands have ranged in the past from $250-$3,000. Travel and lodging is negotiable for touring artists, and all musicians will be provided food and beverages at the festival. The music takes place on three stages with no overlapping sets and each stage is equipped with a full sound system and a sound engineer.
2011 performers included: Railroad Earth, 7 Walkers, Cornmeal, Greensky Bluegrass and Sonicbids selections Stonewheel, Barry Mando Project, and Whiskey Bent Valley.

The Terrapin Hill Farm Family of Festivals occurs in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. These family-friendly events take place at Terrapin Hill Farm, a beautiful 375-acre organic family farm located in the heart of the Bluegrass Region. The festivals feature a wide spectrum of musical styles by a wide spectrum bands composed of nationally and internationally known musicians plus talent from the surrounding region.
Other activities throughout the weekend include hayride tours of the farm, bonfires, drum circles, yoga, food and crafts vendors, glassblowing demonstrations, and booths distributing information on environmental awareness and social activism.
In addition to promoting healthy food, Terrapin Hill Farm has been promoting live music for almost 20 years. What started out as small gatherings of guitar-pickers around the campfire has evolved into one of the nationals premier music festivals. In 2005, Terrapin Hill Farm was awarded an Agri-tourism Competitive Award from the Kentucky Agricultural Development Fund, to help make improvements to its venue.
The festival is the perfect opportunity to not only enjoy excellent live music, but to also learn about environmental, social and health issues and to support those organizations fighting for just causes. The festival greatly support local artists who appreciate the opportunity to perform alongside well known artists in front of crowds they might not otherwise reach.
