The 24 Finalists
Twenty Four finalists will be chosen by a panel of music industry professionals to perform at one of eight live events across the country July 26-August 5, and will receive $500 towards travel expenses.
Here's How it Works
Submissions: Artists have from 5pm ET on May 30 - 11:59:59 ET on June 17 to submit their Electronic Press Kit (EPK) along with completed Submission Form to this Gig Listing on Sonicbids.com. The submitting artist(s) will choose which of the eight cities is their preferred performance location (New York, Nashville, Miami, Detroit, St. Louis, Houston, Denver or Las Vegas) should they be selected as a finalist.
Round 1: All submitting bands who meet the eligibility criteria will be entered into a round of public voting. Starting at 12pm ET on June 21, artists will rally their fans who are 21+ to generate as many votes as possible. The site will feature the artist's photo, bio and one track. Artists will spread the word to their network through social media and word of mouth. At the close of Round 1 at 11:59pm ET on July 3 the 80 artists (10 from each performance city) with the most votes will move on to the next round.
Round 2: A panel of music industry professionals and representatives from Bud Light will choose three artists from each location (Twenty Four total) as finalists. The three finalists from each location will perform a live Bud Light-branded showcase between July 26-August 5.
Round 3: The live events will be filmed. Each finalist will have a video of their best performance featured on voting sites. At 12pm ET on August 13 the finalists will rally their fans again to vote on their favorite live video. The three artists with the most votes at the close of voting at 11:59pm EST on August 27 will be declared the Grand Prize Winners (subject to verification)!
