Pointfest Talent Competition 2012

Enter to win a spot as the opening band at Pointfest, a Christian music festival on Sept. 15, 2012 in Sandusky, OH with some of the top names in Christian music.



Pointfest is a full day of amusement park fun at Cedar Point amusement park, then a full evening of music and ministry.



Win a chance to play on the same stage as Skillet, RED, Francesca Battistelli, Royal Tailor, Jamie Grace, Emcee: KJ52 and Speaker: Bob Lenz.

How to win:

Fans, friends, family members and the general public will vote for their favorite artist/band in the competition for one week. A voting link will be posted on the Premier Productions, Premier Festivals, and Pointfest websites. People may vote once a day through the voting period. The winning artist or band will be selected from the top 5 finalists by a panel of Christian music industry professionals.



One Sonicbids artist will be selected to perform at Pointfest. The winner will also receive Hospitality (1 meal for each band member) and the standard merchandise fee will be waived so that the selected artist keeps 100% of their merchandise sales.

• Pointfest Talent Competition 2012 artist/band submission deadline: Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at about 11:59 p.m. (about two weeks before notification)


• Voting by General Public via Sonicbids Voting Link: Friday, 7/20/2012 – Friday 7/27/2012


• Announce Top 5 Finalists: Monday, 7/30/2012.


• Judging by panel of music industry professionals: Wednesday, 8/1/2012


• Announce Winner on Premier Festival websites: On or around Friday, 8/3/2012


• Pointfest Talent Competition 2012 artist/band notification deadline: On or around Monday August 6, 2012 (about 6 weeks before event). All artists will be notified of winner by this date.
