"MM 2012 was a great platform for Riot! and our artists to gain exposure to an international trade audience – on our own shores. The conference and master-classes gave us access to industry heavy-weights, and provided opportunities for new partnerships – local/ regional/ international – including digital distribution, touring, and exchange programs with Nordic markets. Riot! artists The Great Spy Experiment, Inch Chua, and Charlie Lim played to eager and enthusiastic fans (old and new), and a host of other key industry stakeholders including MDA, festival bookers, venue owners."

- Mike See, Artist Manager, Singapore

"There is no doubt that Music Matters Live was an important step in the early part of our story. The conference gave us such invaluable knowledge and experience. It sharpened us up, helped us formulate our plan for the future, and it got us excited about what is out there. The music world is a big place. Music Matters Live helped us see that, and it helped us to truly become a part of it."

- Warning Birds, Australia

"Music Matters in Singapore was an exceptional event. The logistics of the conferences allowed easy networking with other industry professionals, and the performances for acts were distributed well throughout the nights, in easily accessible venues to move between. Through MM, we opened the doors up to China and Singapore in particular, as well as cemented some earlier relationships with US and European contacts. Overall, the hub within Singapore gave a great insight into the full Asian region and a direct relationship with key contacts in most markets. Overall, it was a successful venture which we've been growing from since."

- Matt Hunt, Artist Manager, "Direct Influence", Australia

Over 40 bands from more than 15 countries will be selected to play. There are two guaranteed spots for Sonicbids members, and those who create a Sonicbids account upon submitting to Music Matters are entitled to ONE free month's subscription package.
