On July 26th-28th, 2013 we salute the nineteenth year of this acclaimed Toronto tradition; a festival focused around beer, accompanied by live music, delicious food and grilling demonstrations. The Festival is Canada's premier celebration of the golden beverage. From lagers and stouts, to wheat beers and pale ales, a vast majority of Ontario brands are represented, allowing upwards of 35,000 patrons to sample a variety of brands in a unique 'out of store', 'one stop shop' experience. Sponsors for the event include bet365.net, Ontario Craft Brewers, and many more.
Three slots are reserved for artists who apply using Sonicbids! Selected artists will be compensated for their performances, however travel/lodging is not provided.
Beer may take centre stage at the Festival, but live entertainment is an essential component that elevates the event from an average tasting to a world class festival. The Main Stage has hosted well-known acts such as Ace of Base, The Trews, The Sheepdogs and Dragonette in previous years. From blues to jazz, country to rock - they have it all!
2011 marked the first year of the Festival at Bandshell Park. Located at Exhibition Place, Bandshell Park was constructed in 1936 and inspired by the Hollywood Bowl.
