AYE Music & Art Festival (8th Annual)

The AYE Music & Art Festival is a community festival and a celebration of art. It will be held at The Southgate House in Newport, Kentucky, just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio. This year's fest will be a benefit to the local breast cancer non-profit group, the Pink Ribbon Girls. The event will feature three rooms of mayhem over the course of two nights. They are looking to select two Sonicbids artists to the fest this year. Please keep in mind that this is a benefit event, but selected artists will receive a ton of free promotion, exposure, food, and other negotiable compensation. Brooklyn Rockers, A Bunch of Dead People, South Bend hip-hoppers, The B.E.A.T., and Cleveland's The Village Bicycle are all on board for 2013, along with local staples Meiosis, Black Pharaoh, and Chick Pimp, Coke Dealer at a Bar. Per tradition, local art collective, BUNK News, will be providing stage installations.

Since 2006, AYE and Grasshopper Juice-related events have raised over $3,800 benefiting the American Cancer Society, WAIF 88.3, Susan G. Komen For The Cure, and Friends for Chris Walker. Due to growing popularity, many people are joining in to help make future AYE events become even more spectacular. Adjust Your Eyes has been featured on WKRC in Cincinnati, as well as the Indie Bible, Jambase, CityBeat, The UC News Record, Sonicbids, and various other publications.
