Summary
A masquerade festival of music, art, and film will contain the 25,000 zombies that contaminate the streets of Long Beach each year. The festival committee is in search of bands that will embrace the Halloween spirit and delight our undead horde. In addition to great music (not limited to horror genres) they want bands that will give a performance worth rising from the grave for.
Last year there was over 10,000 attendees dressed as zombies participating in the festival. This year additional space has been added to accommodate more zombies. The Contamination Stage hosts the music, the Quarantine Screen plays an outdoor zombie classic after dark, food trucks feed the masses, there are carnival rides and games, art installations, and a staged zombie walk through the streets.
The funds raised at the Long Beach Zombie Walk go to support the Long Beach Cinematheque a non-profit community program committed to fostering the Long Beach film scene.
