Out of Step Entertainment and Bamboo Skateboards are pleased to announce their 3rd digital compilation: The Green Washed Ritual III.
The GWR III merges major label acts, independent label acts and regular folks who just put out great music including 1 chosen Sonicbids artist. Past Sonicbids winners were Avery Watts and the Giving Tree band.
All submissions, regardless of being selected or not, will receive a tweet from the promoter
Digital download cards will be given out with each skateboard sold online by Bamboo Skateboards, up to 100,000. This compilation was the first of its kind and reached millions of action sports and music fans. Distribution will also take place at the various events associated with the presenters across the country, including but not limited to the X-games, Vans Warped Tour, Malouf Money cup, Surf Expo, Tampa AM, AGENDA, as well as many digital and viral efforts via the Internet. A few of the bands included on GWR compilations in the past were: Medina Lake (Roadrunner), Ana Lovelis (DKE), Story of the Year (Epitaph), Arthur Autumn (Out of Step), Slightly Stoopid (Law) and It dies today (New World).
Ultimately, they are looking for something creative and fresh that falls in line with action sports enthusiasts. If selected, your one song will be licensed non-exclusively and you will receive exposure into the extreme sports market.
Bamboo Skateboards is an ecologically based brand and manufacturer of high quality skateboards made from sustainable bamboo. It is their goal to help change the paradigm from maple deforestation to sustainable bamboo, as skateboarding is vastly contributing to maple deforestation in N. America.
