Wolfeboro Folk Concert Series

Wolfeboro Folk was launched in 2001 to bring some of today's top traditional and contemporary folk musicians to the Wolfeboro, NH, area. Since beginning, it has been awarded a "Best of NH" award for "Best Place to Hear New Folk Music", Christine Lavin's "Best Performance Venue of 2006", and a "New Hampshire Business in the Arts" Award.



In Fall '06, the series moved into its own venue, a restored historic barn renovated into a first class performance venue.



The series is now accepting submissions for dates starting in the Fall of 2007.There is at least one slot, possibly more, reserved for a Sonicbids artist. Artists will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Selected artists will be compensated for their performances. The series has sold out almost 85% of its concerts.



The series is operated by Ben Anderson, owner of Blackbird Productions, and producer of a multitude of multi-genre musicial events throughout NH.
