Portneuf Valley Brewing - Pocatello, ID

Portneuf Valley Brewing poured their first beer for public consumption in July of 1996. Owner and Brew Mistress Penny Pink had been brewing fine beers for the enjoyment of her family and friends for many years, and decided to turn her hobby into a self-supporting business. Setting up her first commercial brewery inside Dudley's Sports Bar & Grill, her unique brews soon gathered a loyal following. Recognizing the need for expansion and with a desire to pour her beer from her own taps in a brew-pub atmosphere where people could actually see the process of creating the beer they were enjoying, in March of 1999 Penny purchased the old East Idaho Brewing Company building at 615 S. First Ave in Pocatello. The building hadn't been used in years, and was a filthy old warehouse that had most recently been used as a haunted house when she bought it.



Compensation is negotiable for all bands in this 100 person capacity room. If bands have to play loud, this is not the room for them to play. A local draw isn’t necessary for booking, but it’s weighed on compensation.



Portneuf Valley Brewing provides a pleasant environment to try a wide variety of handcrafted beers, live music and has becoming the place to be after work and on Friday and Saturday nights. The PVB Pub also hosts other events throughout the weeks. There’s something for everyone.
