The Goa Chillout Zone 1 CD compilation focuses mainly on World Music artists and lounge/chillout music genres but is open to any musical style where a feeling or theme of peace is prevalent.
11,000 copies of the CD will be pressed and distributed to retail stores as well as online distributors including iTunes, Yahoo Music and various other stores, coffee shop outlets, lounges and world renowned clubs across top holiday destinations of the world. Additionally, the CDs will be sent to all W.O.A International radio partners across the world and radio airplay is assured as well as TV publicity. The Worldwide release date is the 11th of December, 2007.
Six slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists. Of those 6 artists, two of those artists will have the standard $200 inclusion fee waived as a facet of our relationship. The fee will apply to the other selected artists.
All selected artists will be paid a royalty/licensing fee on a pro rata basis, per song included in the compilation. Each selected artist will be provided with 10 CDs each with additional CDs available for purchase at a special discounted price.
W.O.A Records has released award winning & record breaking albums in the past including albums that have been selected for 'International album of the year' by Oliver Sean alongside John Mayer, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Third Eye Blind and albums released by W.O.A Records have broken records by having its world music albums going platinum and competing with mainstream pop and rock albums. Currently 3 music videos for W.O.A Records albums are on MTV Asia, Zee Music and other international music channels.
