Summary

HRC’s Equality Rocks is a public engagement campaign featuring prominent worldwide musicians who support the marriages of committed gay and lesbian couples. Its mission is to spark positive conversations about the power of love, fairness and equality. HRC is looking to discover emerging artists who support this public engagement campaign. Early supporters include: Florence and the Machine, Phoenix, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Tegan and Sara, Animal Collective, CSS, The Presets and Blood Orange to name a few!



Sonicbids artists who are selected will:


  • become part of the growing artist roster featured on HRC’s Equality Rocks website

  • be given the opportunity to show their support for marriage equality through their music

  • have their content featured on HRC’s social media platforms
  • receive Equality Rocks merchandise.
