Latin Street Salsa Thursdays is held at Excalibur in downtown Chicago. Excalibur is one of the oldest, largest and most recognized venues in Chicago.
The event is produced by Latin Street Dancing Inc., one of the largest and most professional Latin promotion companies in Chicago. Latin Street Dancing is looking for any Latin/tropical genres. Salsa and mambo are the most dominant genres, but they also feature merengue, bachata and cumbia.
Compensation is considered based on talent, local name recognition and national popularity.
Concerts are heavily promoted with fliers, emails and through producer's website. Radio promotions are also included on both commercial and non-commercial radio.
Excalibur is where the tropical dancers go in Chicago.
