In 2009 the Millennium Music Conference & Showcase will be held February 12-15 at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel & Convention Center and 30 venues in and around Harrisburg, PA.
The event celebrates new music and emerging talent with four nights of showcases by selected original acts and artists. MMC Showcases create an exciting and valuable platform for new talent. Showcasing your act at the 2009 event and networking with fans, musicians and music industry professionals in the unique conference environment could be integral to your career. In 2009 MMC13 will host over 300 showcase performances at 30 live music venues in and around Harrisburg, PA - 200 showcase slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists. All showcasing acts and artists receive Performers Credentials to attend the conference.
The showcase submission deadline is December 8, 2008.
Early selections are made in late October and November and all final notifications begin on December 15, 2008 and continue until complete.
Acts and artists traveling to MMC12 are responsible for their own travel arrangements. The Radisson Penn Harris Hotel & Convention Center has special conference rates and amenities for musicians, students and music industry professionals.
The 13th annual event will also feature 2 days of music business keynotes, panels, clinics, workshops, mentoring & demo listening sessions and trade show. Music industry professionals attend as panelists, speakers, mentors, exhibitors and talent scouts to network, do business and share their experience with the showcasing acts and artists and conference attendees.
Harrisburg, the State Capital of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, is just hours from New York City, Philadelphia and Baltimore/Washington. Harrisburg is accessible by major highways and interstates, Amtrak trains and the host hotel and showcase venues are just minutes from Harrisburg International Airport in Middletown. The region is the former home of Danny Hartman, Poison, Live, Jeffrey Gaines and Fuel.
