Summary

Music For Coffee Beings is expanding into the USA. Music For Coffee Beings is accepting submissions for Volume 4, a compilation CD of original music. Their goal is to showcase original music from the best emerging and established artists on Sonicbids and beyond. Canadian bands are the focus, but bands new to touring in Canada are also welcome to apply. There is 1 spot reserved for a Sonicbids artist on Volume 4. This selected artist will not be required to pay any additional fees to be incorporated in the compilation.



The CD will not be for sale and will only be available from Music For Coffee Beings to selected cafes and coffee shops. 1000 CDs will be distributed to 1000 selected coffee shops and cafes in the major regional capitals and centers throughout the United States and Canada. In addition to the CDs being distributed, there are also 20,000 colour brochures distributed and a strong web presence through the Music For Coffee Beings website and their MySpace page. Artist links will also be added to both.

This is Volume 4 of an ongoing series. Previous volumes have met with remarkable success and rave reviews.
They are proud to have EMI recording artist Serena Ryder on Vol 3. Serena was recently awarded the 2008 Best New Artist Award at the Canadian JUNO's.


Artists featured on Vol 1 and Vol 2 have received many music industry awards and nominations with the WCMA and International Songwriting Competition. Details can be seen at their website.


Magic Puddle's network of cafes are priviledged to be building a library of the latest and greatest new music.

Please Note: Music For Coffee Beings Volume 4 requires all artists (except the one guaranteed selection) to pay an extra fee directly to the promoter in order to participate. Fees are listed in CDN dollars - prices exclude GST (TAX):


  • Unsigned and independent artists - $700 per track (a special discounted rate)



  • One track - $1200 (if you make your payment within 7 days of selection cost is $1000)



  • Multiple tracks - $900 per track (if you make your payment within 7 days of selection cost is $700 per track)
