Summary

Green Festivals™, produced by not-for-profits Co-op America and Global Exchange, are the largest public event promoting the green economy in the United States and the world! These successful events, now in 5 major US cities (San Francisco, Washington DC, Chicago, Seattle & Denver,) have welcomed more than 200,000 attendees since 2002! Green Festivals™ are a place to learn about green innovation in a non-partisan setting and network with people from all sectors of the sustainability movement. They showcase social profit organizations, leading green businesses and world class speakers highlighting cutting edge thought leadership, business acumen, and positive solutions for creating a world that works for all.

6-8 musical acts are featured each day of the festival in front of audiences of 200-300.

Performing artists are highlighted in the event magazine distributed to 70,000 regional households 3-4 weeks in advance of the event. Selected bands will be featured on our website with their photos, bio, website and even audio clips.

Applications are accepted for all genres, but PLEASE NOTE: Heavy metal, hard core punk, and explicit adult content would not be appropriate for the vibe and flavor of the Festival. Green Festivals is a not for profit event and does not offer formal compensation for speakers and performers. All revenues made from the events are funneled into creating events throughout the country, and this is an opportunity for artists to support and spread the mission of Green.
