2009 marks the eight year anniversary of JunoFest since its inception in St. John’s, Newfoundland in 2002. As a means to promote and celebrate Canadian music, JunoFest has showcased more than 1,000 artists and bands of all backgrounds and genres including: African Guitar Summit, Alpha Yaya Diallo, Bedouin Soundclash, Belly, Brandi Disterheft, Classified, Feist, Fresh IE, Jim Guthrie, Jully Black, Julie Doiron, Little Miss Higgins, Marianas Trench, Matt Mays & El Torpedo, MSTRKRFT, The Sadies, Saint Alvia, Sam Roberts, Shad, Shout Out Out Out Out, Silverstein, Sloan, Thornley, Two Hours Traffic, Waking Eyes, The Wailin’ Jennys, You Say Party! We Say Die!
