Representing the best of the New, more than 1,200 artists from the worlds of alternative, rock, electronica, hip-hop, metal, Americana, world, jazz and so much more will invade New York during CMJ week. In addition to showcasing thousands of performers in clubs all over the city to over 120,000 music enthusiasts, CMJ Music Marathon hosts five days of nonstop events including panels, keynote speeches (including David Bowie, Marilyn Manson, Brian Wilson, Al Franken, Yoko Ono, and Rev. Jesse Jackson), film premieres (from Pulp Fiction in 1994 to Borat in 2006), mentoring sessions, tutorials and a sizzling, interactive lifestyle area.
