Designed to help songwriting bands/solo artists in practical ways, Bandwars is based on an understanding of the obstacles artists must overcome to have their original material recorded, showcased, and marketed. Mike has put together a package of awards to bring up-and-coming bands/solo artists to a new position to promote their careers:
Bandwars will select tracks from 15 artists to include on the "Best of Bandwars" CD, published by Renaissance Records (mid-2010 release planned), and distributed throughout North America via Koch. Each selected artist will receive 15 promo copies and publishing royalties on any sales.
Grand Prize Package
One artist will be selected to receive:

About Mike Pinder
Mike Pinder was one of the founding members of The Moody Blues in early 1960's. The band had many hits including “Go Now”, “Nights in White Satin”, and “Tuesday Afternoon”, to name only a few. Mike has a strong sense of artistic responsibility to support the development of music from one generation to the next. He has a desire to help new talent refine their art and be validated through that process. His songwriting competitions are the result of his vision and passion.
